J.O. Malone

American film producer has established himself as a game changer in the independent film industry with seven films going into production in 2015. As an undergraduate at Prairie View A&M University, Malone created his film company entitled, “J.O. Malone Studios,” during that same year Malone was named Entrepreneur of the year for his business. Malone produces his films under the J.O. Malone Studios banner.

Malone is currently producing the feature film, “Soul Damage,” featuring Yohance Myles, Palmer Williams Jr. and Tony Grant. The film is slated to hit theaters in 2016.

Malone’s films include, Spunkflicker (2015), An Arcane Life (2015), H – Town (2015), How to Kill Cupid (2015) and My HBCU Story (2013).

As Producer and Founder of the Houston based production company, J.O. Malone Studios, Malone overseas all aspects of the business.

Malone is a dynamic and inspiring speaker who delivers educational and motivational speeches to film industry groups, colleges and universities, as well as youth and community organizations nationwide.

Malone resides in Houston with his wife Riesse and their son J.O. Malone Jr.
